Help Ward Members catch the spirit of Family History and become involved by:

·   Understanding how Family History and Temple work are part of “Gathering Israel”

·   Understanding what it means to become involved in temple work and capturing family history information

·   Connecting families through Family History work and temple ordinances

o   Setting and achieving family / individual temple and family history goal(s)

§  Completing 4 generations in Family Search

§  Capture testimonies, tender mercies and other memories for posterity

§  Obtaining a current temple recommend

§  Regular temple attendance

·   Learning how to use Family History and Temple resources

o   Family Search (including adding memories)

o   Temple Ready and scheduling temple appointments

o   3rd party research tools (Ancestry®, MyHeritage, Findmypast, American Ancestors, others)

o   Ward Family History Consultants

·   Hold regular Temple and Family History Coordination meetings

·   Schedule Monthly Ward Temple day (3rd Thursday on the month when possible)

·   Identify and schedule Primary focused Family History and Temple activities
